Well, a bright star on my horizon anyway:
I’m officially an Aunt!!!
w00t!! Do a little dance, get down tonight!
Rock on, folks. Rock on with the rocking on!
Can you tell, I’m excited? Just a little.
This baby is on time even, a few hours early which is good because her parents are very punctual people.
All fingers and toes thoroughly accounted for, and Parents not too worse for wear as these things go.
Her name is Sophia and she weighs in at 3.75 kgs (aka 8.2 lbs). I don’t have any photos yet but soon, I’m told, very soon =)
awwwwwww. Congrats to you and the new parents. Now you get to be the [add desired moniker here] aunt. I’m kind of the crazy but hip aunt. The aunt that their parents (yes, my brothers and sisters) warn them about, which makes the kidlets all the more curious.
lol Yeah, that’s likely to be a good approximation of what my niece will be told of me.
